Paul Millman
President & CEO, Owner
Paul graduated from University of South Dakota with a BS in Business Administration and a year later with his MBA from USD. In 1990, Paul graduated from the U.S. Naval Supply Corps School, Athens, GA. Paul proudly joined the Navy for active duty in 1974 and was discharged in 1978. Paul then went on to serve 23 years in the Navy Reserves. He and his wife Lori, opened IHC in 1991 in Sioux Falls. Most enjoyable is knowing we are not only helping people remain in their homes where they feel most comfortable but we are also providing a living for over 340 employees who have a heart for home care and supplemental staffing. Over the past 30 years, we have dedicated ourselves to constantly improving our business lines and being an employer of choice. Paul enjoys any activity with his family, traveling with his wife, bicycle trips and just learning to relax.
Lori Millman
V.P, Chief Clinical Officer, Owner
Lori worked her way through high school in a long-term care facility, first as a kitchen aide and eventually as a nurse aide. She then went on to graduate in 1977 from Dakota Wesleyan University with a nursing degree and moved with her husband (Paul) to San Diego, California where she worked in a hospital. After moving back to Vermillion, SD, she worked as Director of Nursing at a long-term care facility and then as the Head Clinic Nurse at Student Health at The University of South Dakota. When they moved to York, NE, she continued her career as a nurse at a long-term care facility until moving back to Sioux Falls where she worked at Southridge Nursing Home (then, Mom & Dad’s Nursing Home) and then she was hired as one of the first nurses to open the new Avera Prince of Peace. She was promoted to Staff Development Coordinator where she wrote the CNA course for the State of South Dakota and conducted training/certification classes. In 1991, while still at Prince of Peace, she helped open what is now Interim HealthCare. She enjoys her grandchildren, photography, bicycling and traveling.
Abigail Woodford
V.P., Chief Operations Officer, Owner
Abigail Woodford grew up in Sioux Falls. Upon graduating from high school, she attended one year at the Association Free Lutheran Bible School in Plymouth, MN. From there, she attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science & Fitness Management. Her first job came from her internship at Dow Rummel Village as an Exercise Specialist, where she worked for a few years. In 2008, she joined the Interim HealthCare team full time and has held many positions over the past 14 years. In 2015, Abigail had the opportunity to become an owner and she jumped at it as that had been her dream to be a part of the ownership team. In 2017, Abigail opened up the Brookings Interim HealthCare office.
Abigail is married and has three children. She enjoys hunting and fishing with her husband and being outdoors with her three kids.
Lee Taylor
Assistant V.P. of Operations
Lee was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa and grew up in communities between Iowa and South Dakota. He Graduated from Sheldon High School, Sheldon, Iowa in 1999 and went on to attend Lake Forest College, in Lake Forest, IL. Lee had the opportunity to play college basketball and get a degree in Communications with a minor in Political Science. Upon graduation, Lee was heavily involved in athletics as a coach and official. Lee has been coaching basketball every year since graduating college in 2003. Between being an assistant college basketball coach (Lake Forest College and Augustana University) to the head boys basketball coach at Roosevelt High School and currently the boys director & coach with the SD Attack/Sanford Academy. Lee became an Assistant Athletic Director at Augustana University in the summer of 2014, and was there until he joined the Interim Team in December 2018, as the Assistant VP of Operations. In his free time, he loves spending time with my family, following the Chicago Cubs, and being around the game of basketball between coaching and officiating!
Nancy Bartz
Payroll/Billing Manager
Nancy Bartz started at Interim HealthCare in 2005. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Northern State College. Nancy processes payroll and billing at Interim HealthCare in our Sioux Falls office. In her free time, she likes to travel, read, spend time with family, follow college football and basketball...especially the SDSU Jacks.
Grant Winter
Assistant Operations Manager
Grant Winter joined Interim as an intern in the fall of 2019, while he was completing his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Gerontology. When Grant would have time in between classes he would come to the office to help with orientations, scheduling, and anything else that needed assistance. Once Grant graduated from Augustana University in May 2020 he came on full- time to our team as our Human Resources Assistant. While nearing his third year at Interim, he has now been promoted to Assistant Operations Manager! Grant’s background involves growing up on a farm in South Dakota, working within assisted living facilities, and being a part of numerous activities. In his free time now, he enjoys traveling to see family, friends, and any new destination!
April Schaefer
R.N., Director of Health Care Services
April Schaefer currently serves Interim as the Director of Health Care Services but prior to this, she served in the role of Intake Coordinator. April provides oversight of home health services provided by our Home Health Companions and Aides as well as our RNs and LPNs. April was raised in Bemidji, Minnesota but has been a South Dakota resident since 2009, residing with her husband and four children. April obtained her LPN from Southeast Technical College in 2012 and her RN from Western Iowa Technical Community College in 2022. Her nursing career began in long term care but she then spent many years as a Correctional Nurse at the South Dakota State Penitentiary prior to joining the Interim team. April enjoys spending her time with her family, reading to her children, and being creative in her spare time.
Emily Marsh
Social Media Specialist
Emily has been working part time for Interim HealthCare for many years but recently came on board full time in March 2022. Previously, Emily received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences from Augustana University and her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. Emily worked as an SLPa for 10 years focusing her practices at a residential treatment facility working with children with emotional and behavioral needs, including trauma. At Interim, Emily is our Social Media Specialist. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, fishing, biking and traveling.
Breanne Nelsen
Client Service Representative
Breanne coordinates homecare schedules and wears many hats in the office. She started her career in homecare as a sophomore in high school. Having the opportunity to become medication aide certified, case coordinator experience and later CNA certified along with May other certifications and skills, she brings knowledge to every aspect of Interim. Breanne lives in rural South Dakota with her husband and daughter. Her passion behind her role is to help clients stay home longer. Her passion in life is to bring laughter and fun wherever she goes along with being the best mom she can be. If she is not working, you will find her at the river, a fun event, attraction or outdoors with her family.
Nicole Amick
Staffing Coordinator
Nicole has been in Sioux Falls for her whole life. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2019. She has been working in the health care field since 2017, Nicole was onboarded as a resident aide then once she graduated, she became a Med aide and also did some scheduling at the facility as well. In 2020 Nicole was looking for a change and applied at Interim Health Care for a Med aide position but soon got recruited to be the Staffing Coordinator. She loves her job here at Interim as she knows what it is like being in the field and how short the facilities are. Recently Nicole and her boyfriend Devin moved to Tea SD with their cat Stripes. Devin loves to teach Nicole new things; he is currently trying to teach her how to long board and disc golf!
Aric Spader
Staffing Recruiter
Aric earned his M.A in Sports Administration and Leadership from Augustana University and his B.A in Psychology from South Dakota State University. He has been with Interim Healthcare since February of 2022. Prior to Interim he was the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Augustana University from 2015-2022. Aric also taught classes at Augustana from 2019-2022. He has been a club soccer coach for Dakota Alliance Soccer Club the last 10 years. His passion is people and building relationships whether it is in the office or on the soccer field. He enjoys getting to know people, finding out what their goals are, and doing what he can to help lead them in right direction towards achieving their goals. Aric grew up in Sioux Falls, SD. He and his wife got married in August of 2021. When they are both not working, they enjoy traveling to different cities or simply enjoying a nice evening on their patio.

Whether that is with computer systems, social media and marketing, recruiting, staffing, or on a personal level helping someone identify and achieve their goals, she enjoys acting as a resource to others. She is a competitive bodybuilding athlete and live that life year-round. Ali grew up in a small farm town in Minnesota, proudly with farm dirt on my boots, before moving to North Idaho for 4 years with her husband. They moved to Harrisburg, SD in November of 2021 where they purchased their first home. "Intentional Days Create a Life on Purpose."
Devanee Stevens

Devanee joined the Interim HealthCare team as an Administration Assistant in May of 2022. Previously she worked in the field for Interim HealthCare as a CNA for 2 years. Devanee was born in raised in Sioux Falls. She is a Dog mom of two. In her free time, you can find her spending time with family.

Matt joined the Interim Healthcare team as a Business Development Assistant in May of 2022. Working out of our Fargo office, Matt completed his MBA from North Dakota State University in 2022. A native of Iowa, Matt also graduated from Iowa State University in December of 2019 with a degree in Marketing and minors in Public Relations and Political Science.
Emma Nickolauson

My name is Emma Nickolauson and I am from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. I enjoy camping, gardening, and taking trips to different state parks with my dog, Lenny. I started my career in health care as a CNA 7 years ago and that is where my passion blossomed and evolved into what it is today. I have my associates degree in Healthcare Administration and I am working on my Organizational Leadership degree to be able to continue helping people to the best of my ability. I was raised in a small family business and it has been important to me to work alongside people who share values similar to my own. I truly believe I have found that and I am so excited to be part of the Interim Healthcare team here in North Dakota!
Sarah Woods
Client Service Specialist (Brookings)
My name is Sarah Woods. At 18 I relocated from Zimbabwe, Africa to Kentucky to attend University. After I graduated with a degree in Business Administration I married my husband, going on 19 years and had our daughter who is now 12yrs old. During that time, I worked multiple years as an in-home CNA and administration jobs in the insurance and sales industry. Three years ago, we relocated to Brookings, SD and began making it our home. I recently became a client service specialist with Interim Healthcare and love being part of a team focused on our client’s needs. One of my favorite quotes says “Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person” and I feel that is one of the greatest gifts we get to give in healthcare.
Heather Olson
Client Service Specialist (Brookings)
I started my career in healthcare, becoming a CNA during high school. Working in a small, rural nursing facility showed me the struggles of healthcare staffing. Throughout college, I worked as Resident Assistant, CNA, and Med Aide in the Brookings area. I graduated from SDSU and continue to live in Brookings. Outside of work hours, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, reading, and traveling.
Addyson Brady
Payroll & Billing Specialist
Addyson came on board in April as our payroll/ billing specialist. Primarily, she handles payroll and billing for facilities and staffing employees. She has taken on this new role to relieve Grant Winter of the processes. Previously she has worked as a licensed property and casualty insurance agent and payroll for Tyson. Addyson and her family moved to Sioux Falls recently. In her free time, you will find that at the dog parks, on the Yankton River or spending time with extended family.
Kristin Johnson
Client Service Representative
Kristin is our new Client Service Representative in our Sioux Falls office. Kristin lives in Tea with her husband, three kids, and one giant fur baby. She grew up on a farm between Huron and Watertown, SD. Previously, Kristin worked in behavioral healthcare with Lifescape in Sioux Falls, Connections of Moorhead (in the Fargo-Moorhead area) and raising her 3 children. Kristin graduated from SDSU with a degree in Psychology. She enjoys writing, music, crochet and napping. When asked what drew her to Interim she said, " After pausing my career goals to stay home with small kids, it was finally time to return to the corporate world. I love working with people, and this opportunity at Interim seems to be a great fit for both my skills and interests. I’m still developing my goals, as I’d been home for 10 years, but I’m excited to see where this adventure takes me!"
